Devlog 1
Hi. I'm Pajsen the developer of 100 Days Alive. And this is the first devlog.
So in the devlog I will talk about the story, development, progress, goals and designs. So to start the devlog I will talk about the story.
So the story is based around a test bunny (you) that is chosen to live in a simulation for 100 days. So on every question you get 2 or more alternatives that can lead you to new objects, places, death, and clues. To get a map of this I use a diagram to make the story end.
Development: The development has been going for one week now. I’ve planned stuff to add in the future. The game development will be slow as I’m learning a new language to develop in. Later I will add shops and more fights will gear from your inventory.
Progress: This far I’ve finished level 1 and half of level 2. I’m working on animations and a better inventory system.
Goals: My goals for this game is to learn a new language and make a functional game without a game engine. This game has teached me more about the cores in game development.
Designs: Right now the game is a bit “green” and “console’ie”. I’m going to add animations and a GUI later. The game is heavily based on ASCII art and animations to add a bit of spice.
So at the end of this devlog: there is still much to do and to learn.
Best Regards Pajsen
